Our FOUNDATION Family has lost one of our friends - Alejandro - we would love your support as we help his family through this difficult time. On 1/19/2025, Alejandro went to the ER for shortness of breath. It was determined he needed heart surgery. He was admitted to the ICU because he was unable to maintain his blood pressure and oxygen. Alejandro was a happy, fun 22 year old with Down Syndrome. His heart and lungs fought to keep him alive for 45 days in the hospital. He fought so hard to be back home with his family, he was resucitated 5 times but eventually passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 1:32pm Alejandro was a big part of our Down syndrome community. His family is devastated and could use help with meals as they work through arrangements and this new chapter in their lives.
