Ilona and her daughters Renata (14) and Erika (12) are Ukrainian refugees living in Redding, CA. They fled Ukraine in October 2022 due to the war with Russia, leaving behind family, friends, school, home. Even though they miss their Dad terribly, the girls are thriving, doing well at school, making friends, and fluent in English. However, Ilona is struggling with loneliness and the means to pay rent. She needs financial assistance. But more than that, she would love to live with a family in Redding. Ilona and her girls are absolutely delightful, respectful, honest, kind, hard-working people.
