Story
Hammy’s got heart, humor, and a whole lot of fight—and right now, he’s working harder than ever to rebuild his strength one step at a time. After nearly three weeks in the PICU on life support, Hamilton is finally out of intensive care—but his body is still recovering, and the road ahead is long. He can’t walk yet, and sitting up is still a challenge—but if you know Hammy, you know he’s not one to quit. This page is where we’ll share updates, cheer him on, and coordinate the kind of help that’s made a real difference—meals, gift cards, snacks, small comforts. Whether you’re here to pitch in, send love, or just laugh at how dramatic Hammy can be over hospital jello—we’re so glad you’re part of this. Let’s build that muscle. Let’s back this hustle. Go, Hammy, Go!
Special Notes
We are truly overwhelmed—in the best way—by the love and care surrounding Hamilton and our family right now. Some of you have been with us through years of medical challenges, and others are just joining us on this journey. Every message, meal, gesture, and check-in means more than we can say. Please know: we are not in financial need, and we do not expect anything. But we’ve learned that accepting kindness—especially when it’s offered from a place of love—can bring real comfort during times like these. If you’re looking for simple ways to support, here are the things that have been most helpful: • Meal funds or gift cards (for hospital days or nights at home when energy is low) • Snack bags or small care items (for long stretches at the hospital) • Encouraging messages or notes for Hamilton and the rest of the family This page is here to keep things organized and make it easier for anyone who wants to help, in whatever way feels right. We are so thankful for you—thank you for holding our family with such tenderness and strength. With love and gratitude, The Weavers
