Below is the update from Angela yesterday— “As many have heard we are in the PICU in Sioux Falls with our Jedidiah. What started on Tuesday as a high fever and ear infection continued to decline into dehydration and some-type of awful butt kicking virus. Yesterday we took him in to the er and had an amazing team who listened to our concerns and did what they could do but after doing all they could they made the decision it was in his best interest and safety to be airlifted to Sioux Falls. He showed the flight crew what a brave daredevil he was and rocked the flight Derek met him and I was at the castle shortly after. After being on max dose of airflow overnight and still not improving the team at the castle decided it was time to sedate him and put him on bipap. He has an amazing crew of docs, therapists and nurses working with him to keep him comfortable and happy as possible. We just want to say thank you to everyone for the prayers and kind words.” We will all do our best to keep this page updated and all we ask of friends/family and supporters is to give them time and lots of prayers during this time.
