Story
I want to start with thanking whoever you are for coming to this page and considering helping! If you know my sister Grace Morrison, you know she is just such a sweet, giving, caring, loving person. She has been there for myself and children many times over and would give her last dollar to one of my kids. It kills me that I cannot provide for her during this time in need. The least I can do is reach out to friends, family and whoever I can to see if anyone has a spare dollar to donate mainly for food right now. I am in a position where my husband’s job is no longer able to fully cover the bills due to rising costs and three consecutive rent raises. I am working evenings with food delivery to supplement for my family, my mom is struggling with her health and immobile and my Dad has had a surgery recently that left him with blood clots, nearly taking his life and leading to another surgery. Thank the Lord he is okay. He is also unable to help because of his health needs. We are all having a rough financial season. Jonathan, my sisters husband has been home about a year now from an accident that brought him back from Iraq. He is suffering with PTSD which has contributed to severe paranoia, depression and mental and social withdrawal including with his wife. Grace currently has no access to any finances. She has three kids including a toddler that needs diapers and wipes every week. She has a van that isn’t the cheapest to get the kids to school and back, they don’t have health insurance so when they get sick she’s had to use the small amount she had for vitamins and things for them to get well… I am kindly asking if anyone could help her out with dinners/groceries. We have strong values in our faith and family and separation is the last thing my sister wants to do. Hopefully they are able to find a solution and work on this issue together and move on. I appreciate your understanding. We need so much prayer for their marriage. I cannot fathom seeing her family hurt like this. She loves her husband so much and has been going through the church and trying other resources to get mental help. All the professional(council) help they have received has been short lived due to her spouses paranoid behavior. I believe with God, they can get through this. They just haven’t found the right help yet. So for now, until we can get another income source, and the right help, just want to make sure my sister and her children are being fed. If anyone wants to reach out to Grace, she could use all the support she can get right now. I need to build a village for her ❤️ I want her to know there are many out there that love her and will be there for her and her family. Thank you for caring enough to see this… please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏 -Mia Hill
