Story
Natalie was at Ash Wednesday service when she fell down the stairs and fractured her ankle. She is on crutches for 8-12 weeks(!!) while she heals, and Nat & Kev can use support with meals, and hanging out with their 4 fun kids (Zoe: 6, Gracie: 5, Ethan: 3, Lawrence: 2). **Kevin is taking his PhD exams March 18, 20, 25, and 27, so those two weeks especially are going to be crunch time for their family! Kev works most Saturdays so Nat is solo mom on the weekends, too Some Ways to Help - Drop off a Meal - Dinners eaten around 6pm.... Feel free to split adults vs kids if you prefer! - If Dinner feels like too much, breakfast or lunch are also a great option. The kids love fruit, cut up veggies, sandwiches (breakfast sandwiches or lunch). Childcare: - Mornings (10am-12pm) Walk the kids to the playground, they'll play by themselves and know the way there! Natalie can potentially join with her crutches, she just can't push the stroller. - Afternoons (1pm-3pm): Take Ethan on an afternoon adventure! This is the time the older girls do school while Lawrence naps--feel free to text Nat directly for this! Other Ideas: - Nat loves Cava... kids love Chick-Fil-A. - Nat's Starbucks order: Salted Caramel Cold Brew, with or without seasonal cake pops for the kids ;) - Nat actually made this meal train Pinterest board to share for friends in the past, so we pulled it out as inspo! https://www.pinterest.com/natalie_gott/meal-train-ideas/ Depending on how long recovery is, we may add additional ways to support like house tidying, yardwork... We'll keep this page updated!
Special Notes
No Allergies or strong dietary notes (except no spicy foods for kids), but with a preference to foods that don’t make a huge mess (looking at you, spaghetti) Breakfast: anything the kids can do independently (cereal, fruit, yogurt, muffins) Lunch: anything the kids can do independently (fruits, cheeses, veggies, stuff for sandwiches) Dinner: whatever you're eating is probably great!
