Story
Meal Train for Patricia. Dear Friends and Family, As many of you know, my mother, Patricia, is the center of our family—a kind, caring, and compassionate woman who has always selflessly prioritized her children above all else. She has always put us first, nurturing us with love and unwavering support, and consistently finding a way on her own to keep our family strong. Now, however, she is in need of our love and support during a challenging time of battling Liver failure. Both the doctors and my mother are doing everything they can to heal her and prevent the need for a transplant, but I truly believe that our love, along with the love of Jesus, will be what ultimately helps her through this difficult journey. We are organizing a Meal Train to provide her with nourishing meals and a bit of comfort as she navigates this difficult period. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together and show her how much she means to us, just as she has shown love and kindness to countless others throughout her life. It’s time for us to show love to the incredible woman who has always been there for us on our worst days. In addition to meals, even a simple text, a call, or a visit would go a long way in lessening her hurt and reminding her that she is not alone in this fight. Your presence and words of encouragement can make a significant difference during this time. As we come together during this challenging time, let us hold on to the promise of Psalm 147:3: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." How You Can Help: We invite you to sign up to bring a meal or provide a grocery gift card to help ease her daily burdens. Whether it’s a homemade dish, a favorite takeout, or simple essentials, every gesture will be a reminder of how deeply she is loved and appreciated. Let’s rally around her with our support and kindness, just as she has done for so many. Thank you for your generosity and for helping us lift her spirits during this time. With love, Kay 🩷
