In October 2024, Michael was diagnosed with Lymphoma. He will be undergoing intensive chemotherapy for the next 4-6 months at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he will be hospitalized for 6 days every 3 weeks. We are also currently pregnant with our first child, due in May 2025. (Please see the "updates" section for further information.) Unfortunately, as Michael will have a compromised immune system due to the chemotherapy, we are currently in our own little quarantine bubble and can't have any visitors. However we are always available for a good meme, text or FaceTime. The combination of Michael's diagnosis and Phoebe's pregnancy has made basic tasks such as cooking, work around the house, and preparing the house for the baby increasingly difficult for both of us. We also recently moved into our home and were still in the process of unpacking, building furniture, and setting up the nursery (which will now require the help of a handyman.) We are currently asking for help via Venmo, Paypal, or our baby registry as we navigate these difficult months.
