Get Well Nate

San Mateo, CA

Story

Nate went into the ER late on Sunday, January 5th with a bad headache and nausea. After an eventful six hours including returning home and then going back to the hospital in an ambulance, Nate is now in the ICU at Mills Peninsula Hospital in San Mateo and under care for both meningitis and encephalitis after a sinus infection went rogue. Nate had a rough first 24 hours but is starting to do better. He is expected to have a full recovery. However, he has some time ahead of him recovering both in the hospital and then later at home. Obviously Kim and the kids are spending all of their time with him in the hospital right now. We set up this page to keep you, his closest friends and family, updated on what's going on. The Stumps could use some help and we ask for your assistance in keeping them fed and looked after while they focus on Nate. They are also trying to keep in touch with everybody who has reached out, but it's a bit difficult at the moment. We ask that you first check here to see the latest news.

Special Notes

Thank you all SO much for your love and support! We really appreciate it. ❤️ -Avery

Thank you everyone for your support and love. I’m hoping to be out of the ICU tonight or tomorrow, and maybe go home in the next couple days. The meals and help have been so appreciated. Thank you everyone.
